Continuing with the mission of bringing opportunites for the residents of
the North Fork and Shelter Island to participate in the appreciation of the arts. The Arts' top priority has been,
and remains, to reach and stimulate as wide a North Fork and general East End audience as possible; to become an
integral, reliable feature of the community on both a local and regional footing. The Arts will continue to enhance
this trend. |

The Old Town Art and Crafts Guild, a nonprofit cooperative guild, continues
to provide artists and crafters a venue to exhibit and sell their work. Into its
61st year, in addition to providing gallery space, the Guild also sponsors four monthly "Snow Fence"
sales, the Ability Fair, the Young Artist's Competition,
two antique sales and member's yard sale. The Cutchogue Village Green Art and Crafts Fair and Chinese Auction,
is the highlight of the season and is a popular tourist attraction as well as furthering the local talent of the
North Fork. The Guild is now providing art and craft classes and demonstrations throughout
the season. Open daily except Thursdays from10am to 5pm. |
