The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Presented by the North Fork Community Theatre

North Fork Community Theatre's 53rd season continues with the Tony award-winning, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In this musical comedy directed by Ken Rowland, six young people face off in the battle of their lives at the county spelling bee.  Overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, the group learns that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. With its cast of lovable misfits, nerds, neurotics and a few lucky audience volunteers, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee hilariously captures the angst, exhilaration, and heartache that makes growing up so painful and so wonderful.
